  1. Hey, Maggie — fascinating stuff and great writing! I have been on a project for the last few weeks and am just now on this Easter weekend returning to normalcy and catching up on my mail and personal correspondence.

So, I guess you are still in this undisclosed “hub” and don’t know yet where you are going for your assignment but yet your dialect is different that the others’ assigned dialects so I guess you will be on a solo assignment (probably usual anyway).

What is the temp? I think of North Africa as being “hot” but maybe not depending on elevation.

And what about that “scarf” you learned to tie? I thought they didn’t wear scarfs (habibs, is that what they call them in Egypt) in Morocco? Or is this a different type of scarf? Anyway, much love and fascinating reading.

I am going to send a link to your blog to my siblings (your Aunts Jan and Annie and your Uncle Steve and Aunt Patty) so you will be publishing to a wide net before too long.

    Love
    Dad

  2. Hi Maggie!
I’m so excited for you! What an adventure you are on. I want to explore your blog more thoroughly when I get caught up a bit. I will have lots of internet time when I start chemo which will be soon, they say, so that will definitely be a plus where I can see more of your blog. I am using the library now but they tend to boot you off rudely, ha!

    Love,
    Aunt Annie

    Love,
    Mom
